Marvel Powers United VR, announced at Disney's D23 event on Saturday, will allow players a chance to step into the shoes of some familiar heroes as they destroy lots of stuff in VR.

Marvel promises that you definitely can expect to encounter with the Hulk, Rocket, Captain marvel and Ronan the Accuser.

The co-op aspect is certainly interesting. There also appears to be physics based destruction, but it's tough to tell right now if that's organic or if it's scripted. As Rocket, you'll get to guns as you blast everything around you.

Taking in what was revealed during the brief details that were provided on-stage when Marvel Powers United VR was being discussed, it looks like it might be awhile before players can get their hands on this new VR experience from Marvel. The announcement came during the "Level Up" gaming panel, which also included updates about Star Wars: Battlefront II and Insomniac Games' upcoming Spider-Man game.

Indian-origin doctor finds 27 contact lenses in woman's eye in UK
Contact lenses, when kept in the eyes for too long or placed without cleaning, are prone to infections and other conditions. They were causing her discomfort, but the woman had thought it was caused by dry eye and old age, reported The Telegraph.

You can view the chracters that have been annoucned so far on the Oculus website.

One of the coolest things I mentioned above, but really comes out in the trailer are the variable vantage points which make you feel more like each character. This time is designed for virtual reality helmets Oculus Rift and controllers Touch.

Marvel, however, disabled all the comments on their trailer for the game to remove any appearance of dissent against Oculus' exclusivity and fragmentation initiatives.

Marvel Powers United VR is coming in 2018 and will be exclusive to the Oculus + Touch.
