Meizu is one of the few manufacturers to license Samsung's Exynos chipsets, but the Pro 7 will be the first device to be powered by MediaTek's Helio X30 SoC.

The company Meizu has officially confirmed the date of the presentation of the smartphone Meizu Pro 7. Jeffrey has also posted some images, which we don't know are taken by the Pro 7 or not. The rear sensors are expected to be two 12MP cameras from Sony which will be IMX386 and IMX286 sensors respectively. Like, MX7, Pro 7 also supports 3D Touch. The PRO 7 will be announced at the Zhuhai Opera House on the 26th July at 7:30 PM China time. Experts are of the opinion that the secondary screen will enable the users to take a look at the notifications even when the device remains turned off. The successor of the Meizu Pro 6 will be powered by a MediaTek Helio X30 processor and is also expected to feature a 5.2-inch 1080p touchscreen display.

The dual cameras module sitting on the backside of the Meizu PRO 7 is equipped with Sony IMX386 + IMX286 12-megapixel sensors. The Pro 7 will be priced at CNY 2,799 ($409 or €365) for the basic version and CNY 3,299 ($482, €431) if you want more storage. On the connectivity front, both the smartphones will offer all the usual Wi-Fi 802.11ac dual-band, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Meizu Pro 7 Plus, on the other hand, features a bigger 5.7-inch sized display below the dual rear cameras. The secondary display is certainly interesting, and we'll know more about what Meizu's plans for the device next week. The front-facing camera of the PRO 7 will be of 16-memgapixel.
