Trump's lawyer makes a curious argument about the Secret Service

Political veterans from Republican and Democratic campaigns have said it was unusual to take a meeting with a foreign operative offering information on a rival.

The attorney's focus on the law appears aimed at moving beyond the shifting accounts of the meeting given by Trump Jr.

Trump Jr.'s willingness to meet with the lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, in the expectation of receiving incriminating information about Clinton has raised new questions about possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian Federation.

The number of people known to be at the meeting also changed over time.

It said Veselnitskaya was given a special non-immigrant work visa around the time she met President Donald Trump's eldest son Donald Trump Jr.in NY last summer, reports the Hill.

Later reports revealed that lobbyist Rinat Akhmetshin, who was once a Soviet counter-intelligence officer, also attended the Trump Tower gathering. He spoke on ABC's This Week.
