KLAS says that the police would not confirm the information about the threatening note.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirms there was an entry made to the offices located at 8930 W. Sunset which is the location of Sen. Dean Heller (R-Nevada). A vocal critic of the Senate's ACHA rewrite - which, he argues, "they haven't changed" at all - Heller was targeted by a Donald Trump-friendly Super PAC back in June.

"We can't comment on/discuss ongoing investigations" said Heller's spokesperson.

A source told KLAS-TV that a threatening note was also left at Heller's office by the burglar.

Heller had been thrust into the national spotlight over the Trump administration's effort to repeal and replace ObamaCare. The announcement came after McCain's office said he would remain in Arizona next week following a procedure to remove a 2-inch (5-cm) blood clot from above his left eye.
