For years, Bavarian sports vehicle giant BMW and Japan's Toyota have been working on a secret joint project to develop a shared platform that will be used to build a new Toyota Supra and a BMW roadster to replace the Z4.

Looking at the sketch, we get to see a concept-like silhouette of BMW's next-gen roadster.

The debut will take place at the 2017 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance event, which is usually home to a number of very rare and exquisite cars of the classic era and of today.

Ready for its debut on August 17, the latest BMW concept is veiled in mystery, as BMW merely released one teaser shot of the auto and no information to go with it.

The concept is thought to preview the new Z4 that BMW is developing alongside a new Toyota Supra.

BlackBerry KEYone With Hardware QWERTY Keyboard Launched in India: Price, Specifications
Now, the company is all set to finally launch the much awaited smartphone in India for an expected price of under Rs 40,000. Blackberry has added a 3550mAh battery in the KEYone , which is the biggest battery ever in a Blackberry smartphone.

While the teaser does show BMW's upcoming roadster, it is still uncertain whether we will see it in production guise or still in concept vehicle form.

Media reports suggest that this new roadster is supposed to be based on the new sportscar platform that BMW has jointly developed with Toyota.

Sharing the same platform with the eagerly anticipated Toyota Supra, the little BMW is rumoured to be clothed in lightweight body panels that could employ some of the carbon-fibre-reinforced plastics knowhow developed on both the i3 supermini and i8 supercar.

This would be a similar move to the firm's unveiling of its 8 Series coupe, the magazine says, which first appeared as a concept at this year's Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este motor show to "whet the appetite for the production model".
