So far there are only a handful of devices that support Daydream VR: Google's own Pixel and Pixel XL, Motorola's Moto Z and Moto Z Force, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro (including the special Porche Design Edition), the ZTE Axon 7 and ASUS' ZenFone AR. Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ already support Gear VR, which is powered by Facebook's Oculus. That's finally happened, although there's still only a small number of devices that support Daydream. But, this is a global roll out and it will enable every Galaxy S8 smartphone to be compatible with Daydream irrespective of the carrier, country or any other factor. Without this headset, you can't use the Daydream feature. However, Samsung Gear VR is priced at $129. That's because Google demands a very rigorous set of high-end specs for a phone to work with Daydream. However, it was only when Google initiates the server-side support, Daydream VR can come to the Galaxy S8 duo. If it isn't working for you just yet, a user on Reddit suggests clearing all data from the Google VR Services application.
