What makes this mid-range smartphone compelling is that it will be packing the same Edge Sense technology that can be found on its larger sibling the U11. Talking about its specs, it looks like it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC, which in fact contradicts a few reports which claimed it will carry Snapdragon 660 SoC. A fresh image of the smartphone has appeared and it is now speculated to debut as HTC U11 Life.

The U11 is HTCs best phone in years and the company is working on a smaller, 5.2” variant that will go under the moniker HTC U11 Life (its code name is Ocean Life). Edge Sense should still be on board, no word on Alexa yet. Basically, the technology allows users to squeeze the frame of the phone to trigger apps and or shortcuts. Sadly, we don't know what graphics processing unit or how much RAM HTC U11 Life will feature but this information will surely be unveiled during the upcoming future. The rear camera is said to feature phase detection autofocus. If you remember, about a month ago, we came across leaked specifications of a smartphone HTC Ocean Life. At this point in time, there is not a lot known about how much it will have, however, it looks like it will have 32GB of internal storage, which can also be further expanded up to 2TB via a MicroSD card. This means that the handset should survive being submerged up to 3.3 feet of static water for up to 30 mins. Moreover, the smartphone will also ship with HTC USonic earbuds which feature active noise cancellation. It is justified since most of the smartphones these days ditch the headphone jack and come with a USB Type-C port instead.
