Real Madrid and Manchester United will face each other this evening for the first piece of silverware on offer as current holders of the two European trophies - the Champions League and Europa League, respectively. In fact, getting back into the top four is no sure thing either.

Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku will be able to count on strong support from his team-mates this season, with both Antonio Valencia and Nemanja Matic backing the £75m star to be a success at Old Trafford after early criticism from cynics.

"In the last two or three seasons they've been defensively okay but not scoring enough goals have hurt United and I think there are goals in the side now". Mourinho returned to England, again with Chelsea, and took 12 months to bring together his title winning team, going to on to win the 2015 Premier League in his second season back at Stamford Bridge. They have to deliver and kill teams off. The squad that Manchester United have, one that was partially built by Mourinho, and the manager's styles don't match.

Chelsea, Liverpool, staying at Arsenal - what would be best for Oxlade-Chamberlain? The club know you can affect in a positive way the structure, you can affect in a positive way the people that work around you.

"I see the title being between Man City and Chelsea, personally".

Stocks, dollar extend slide as US, North Korea tensions intensify
Trump's second warning, however, has shaken markets that have been largely resilient this year, swatting away a slew of risks. Investors again sought safe-haven assets such as gold and the Swiss franc, helping gold hit a more two-month high.

Victor Lindelof may have arrived in the summer but United's defence still has its question marks.

We had been accused of bottling it the previous year, so when we got over the line the feelings were a mix of relief, pride, excitement, joy - we had ended 26 years of pain.

Yet Matic, whose parried shot created the opportunity for Lukaku to find the net, has no worries about his new colleague, citing the confidence boost that came with the goal.

Mourinho actually went into the summer with the correct plan of trying to lure Eric Dier away from Tottenham. The Belgian scored United's only goal in the 2-1 loss, but it was a bad miss that has stuck in the memory for some. United will be better than past year, but they still won't live up to the hype.
