While the 4-cylinder, 2-litre turbocharged petrol engine in Skoda Kodiaq SUV churns out 177 bhp and a peak torque of 320 Nm, the 2-litre turbocharged diesel engine with 4-cylinder will pump 147 bhp of max power and 340 Nm of max torque to the machine. Skoda Kodiaq SUV is an all-new product from the Skoda stable. The 7-seater Skoda Kodiaq SUV will take on the market leaders in the segment including Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner and even the Volkswagen Tiguan.

The Octavia RS will be the third launch Skoda will do this year and it is set to happen sometime next month. A great all-round package which has hardly changed, save for its distinctive new quad-lamp headlights and some updated technology on board.

On the inside, the Octavia RS is likely to get a 9.2-inch infotainment system that would support Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink. Safety features will include nine airbags, ESP and a park-assist system.

Mechanically, the Rapid is expected to remain the same and continue with the 110hp, 1.5-litre unit that made its debut on the Ameo. It will feature a 2.0-litre turbocharged TSI petrol motor that will put out 230hp. Both engines will be paired with a five-speed manual gearbox as standard with the option of an automatic gearbox.

In addition to the three launches, Skoda, in a bid to make its aftersales and service process more transparent, has announced new service initiatives that can be used by customers via the new MySkoda app.
