Sony has set a date for the spin-off film set in the Spider-Man universe "Silver and Black". The movie is still on its way, however, with Deadline claiming that "the script is still being worked on and that Will Smith still is interested".

Silver and Black will release in theaters in February of 2019. Venom is the first film in this still-untitled Marvel Universe Sony is starting to create that centres on Spider-Man villains, but doesn't contain Spider-Man. Black Cat is burglar named Felicia Hardy, who briefly appeared in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2", played by Felicity Jones.

In the comic books, Silver Sable is a mercenary who runs a company that hunts war criminals. Do you think that Sony is confident in their new spinoffs?

Bad Boys for Life, the Joe Carnahan-directed third installment in the Bad Boys franchise, has been taken off of Sony's schedule for now after being slotted for November 9th, 2018. Breaking Bad director Michelle MacLaren's feature film debut The Nightingale will arrive on January 25, 2019 instead of the previous August 2018 date, and the comedy Holmes and Watson with Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly as the detective duo (respectively) will now arrive on November 9, 2018 instead of the previously set August 2018 date.

After acquiring the "Sicario" sequel "Soldado" from Lionsgate, Sony has now dated the pic for June 29, 2018. For the former, Benicio Del Toro and Josh Brolin will return; the latter is eyeing Anne Hathaway to star. Unfortunately, they won't have an official new Spider-Man movie to help them, but maybe Venom will work out for them instead.
