Aishwarya Rai Bachchan hoists Indian flag in Melbourne

The event turned to be a gala affair with the likes of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karan Johar, Malaika Arora and Sushant Singh Rajput in attendance.

Dangal and Bahubali 2 stole the show at IFFM 2017 with galore of awards. Having conquered the global box office, both the films got huge respect and applauds at the IFFM right from bagging the "best director" award to the "popular choice" One of the most revolutionary film of the year, "Lipstick Under My Burkha" too won quite a few awards for it's fearless performances.

The ' Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" star, who donned a black embroidered dress, was bestowed with "Excellence in Global Cinema' award at the film festival.

Filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari accepted the award for Best Director for the global super hit Dangal.
