Arsene Wenger admits that Arsenal must work on their defensive play after being forced to come from behind to beat Leicester City 4-3 on Friday night.

When asked if Arsenal have received any bids from PSG for the 28-year-old, Wenger replied: "I can not tell you that". They are: Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham. The news and rumours surrounding both Ozil and Sanchez' future with the club could become distracting as the club enter their 2017/18 campaign, and it's imperative that the Gunners focus on securing their Champions League spot with a top four finish instead.

Wenger said the Chile worldwide would miss Arsenal's home fixture against Leicester City on Friday as well as the trip to Stoke City on August 19. This is one team we will be watching very closely this term.

And Merson thinks the Arsenal fans are firmly behind the Arsenal manager's firm stance.

"But I don't want him to go".

Leicester City's triumph two years ago has shown us that any team with the right personnel, management and good luck against injuries, can challenge for and win the title; however, for this season I believe that the victor will come from a group of seven teams which I will tag as the contenders. The Gunners' defending was suspect, but Vardy did well to get in front of them and to put his chance away, restoring the Foxes' lead.

"The problem if he does stay is that he's only staying for six months really".
