"They kept us in the call room extremely long in our running kits, we were getting cold and it's not the warmest weather over here and they kept us a while".

And team-mate Yohan Blake, who ran the third leg, slammed competition organisers for allowing the women's high jump medal presentation to over-run and allow the runners on track to cool down.

The Jamaican champion eventually waved the medics - and the wheelchair - away and with the other three Jamaican team members now around him he walked to the line.

"They were holding us too long...it was atrocious".

Jamaica's Yohan Blake is a doubt for the 4x100 meters relay final at the World Athletics Championships and will be assessed by medical staff before Saturday's final, head Coach Maurice Wilson said.

With Jamaica, who had won the previous four world titles out of the picture, it was left to hometown heroes Great Britain to take gold ahead of the USA.

3.5m North Koreans request to enlist in Army
Donald Trump has threatened North Korea with "fire and fury" as well as tweeting that the United States was "locked and loaded". President Trump has also insisted that "nobody loves a peaceful solution better than President Trump".

In Manila, North Korea blames United States for nukes
The meeting comes as the USA and Asian nations join together to try to step up Pyongyang's economic and diplomatic isolation. But Wang, the Chinese envoy, cast Ri's presence in Manila as a positive, enabling him to "hear the voices from other sides".

He said the US has a "pretty good idea" of North Korea's intentions, but Pompeo declined to provide specifics. North Korea has previously mobilized large crowds to show its resolve when tensions escalate.

Instead, Tori Bowie was the unlikely first double gold medalist at the championships, anchoring the USA team to the 400-meter relay title ahead of Britain and Jamaica.

"He's a showman, he wants to come out and I think he'll do a great job if he comes back to track and field". They had to race in the last lap. It felt like it was there but the reason I lost because I couldn't get it. I think we have introduced him as a villain.

The 4x100m final was Bolt's farewell race and a lot was being said about it, especially after the Jamaican legend was beaten in the 100m final last week.

Bolt received the baton with Jamaica in third, but halfway down the finishing straight the towering sprinter pulled up clutching his left thigh, eventually doing a forward somersault to the ground, to gasps from the 60,000 sell out London Stadium. The fans, however, are looking forward to seeing their superstar in action one last time as he takes to the track.

"Knowing how Usain performs, he's always ready, he's always making sure he's not injured and it's very rare to see Usain injured when he comes to performances".
