A chance of rain is not a certainty; these storms will be most widespread south of USA 72 on Saturday, and most of us get away with no rain at all on Sunday.

The rain will stay clear of the area through the evening, leaving temperatures in the low to mid 70s and a few clouds.

More storms are possible Sunday night into Monday morning, tapering off by Monday afternoon. Highs will be in the low 80s.

Scattered showers and a few embedded storms will gradually shift into parts of eastern Oklahoma through the late morning and early afternoon hours.

Saturday: hit-or-miss storms may still bring locally-heavy rain

A weak front drops south of the Valley on Sunday pushing most of the scattered storms southward into Central and South Alabama. Otherwise Sunday will also see partly cloudy skies as temperatures will be a touch warmer.

More widespread rain chances move in for tomorrow, but it's still just an isolated chance overall. Lows in the upper 50s-low 60s with calm winds. Wind: SE 5-10. High: 85.

Wed: High: 92 Low: 73 Morning storms, then partly cloudy.

Mostly cloudy skies and those occasional showers will once again keep our temperatures below normal today, with highs in the low to mid 80s for our Saturday. More of Northeast Kansas looks to crack into the low 80s for tomorrow, with some mid 80s mixing in, as well.
