Tom Cruise Suffers Injury While Performing 'Mission: Impossible 6' Stunt

Tom Cruise injured his leg while jumping from building to building as he filmed a stunt for his upcoming movie Mission Impossible 6 in London.

The 55-year-old actor, who performs most of his own stunts for the popular action movie franchise, hit the building when attempting to leap a short distance from a nearby rigging, reports TMZ.

In a video obtained by TMZ, the actor is harnessed to cables to keep him aloft, and can be seen leaping from the top of one building to another.

He then was pulled back to the scaffolding as a crew member went to assist him, removing the safety rope and briefly holding Cruise's hand as he steadied himself and limped away. There's no word on whether production will be delayed due to this injury, but as soon as any new information surfaces, we'll let you know. At the time of reporting, Cruise's representatives had not answered requests for comment from outlets actively reporting on the situation, including The Hollywood Reporter. We wish Tom Cruise the best, and hope he recovers quickly.
