Team doctors determined there is "nothing structural.but we decided he needs a break". Rather, Tanaka was feeling more tired.

After the Yankees made trades for Sonny Gray and Jaime Garcia before the July 31 non-waiver trading deadline, the starting rotation was so crowded that Jordan Montgomery was sent to the minors on July 6.

Sabathia was placed on the 10-day DL prior to New York's 5-4 win over the Boston Red Sox on Friday night, retroactive to August 9.

Girardi said that Bryan Mitchell and Luis Cessa are the likely candidates to take Tanaka's next turn Monday against the Mets.

Girardi said there is nothing structurally wrong with Tanaka.

I feel like that's fun. "I think Kendall would be mad at me if I didn't say Kendall, so I'm gonna go with Kendall!" she adds. These followed some other racy pics of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star in a sheer yellow bra and undies.

Red Sox Place Dustin Pedroia On DL For Third Time In 2017

Another suspected kidnappers' den uncovered, set ablaze in Ikeja, Lagos
According to sources, three suspects were arrested from the scene, including one posing as a madman who had a knife on him. The area is said to have underground tunnels where kidnappers are believed to hide their suspects and human parts.

The Japanese righthander can opt out of the final three years and $67 million of his $155 million contract this offseason, but he's just 8-10 with a 4.79 ERA in 133.2 innings over 23 starts. Most alarming were the five walks he issued.

This is the third trip to the disabled list for Tanaka in his four years with the Yankees. In 2015 he missed six weeks with a forearm strain. In his All-Star rookie season of 2014 he spent almost 11 weeks on it after he was diagnosed with a partially torn UCL in his elbow, but he did come back. Tanaka threw 88 pitches in the brief outing.

"I think our plan right now is to rest it for a little bit", Tanaka said through a translator.
