Jays catcher Russell Martin leaves in second inning against Pirates with injury

Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Gregory Polanco injured himself while chasing a fly ball during his team's game against the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday afternoon, according to Pirates beat writer Adam Berry.

Martin left the game Friday night after the first inning when he grounded out.

Mercer added a solo homer off Leonel Campos in the ninth.

Happ, who was dominant in his previous two outings, allowing only two runs combined, struggled in the first inning against the Pirates. The Pirates right-hander struck out six and walked five.
