Shaw's three seasons at United have been significantly hindered by injury and fitness issues.

Despite the injury setback, Shaw has been linked with a move away from United this summer.

United's interest in Rose has intensified over the last month and his recent interview where he urges Spurs to make new signings has only increased speculation surrounding his future.

Manchester United are set to begin their quest to sign Danny Rose, and are reportedly ready to include one of their own stars in a potential deal for the left-back.

However his agent Jonathan Barnett says the player loves United, and not only that, the feeling is mutual.

The England global struggled under Jose Mourinho last season and played just once between November and March, despite being fit.

Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind are likely to fill in for Shaw at left-back in his absence, although manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that the England global could be back in action next month.

Shaw is now sidelined with an injury but has returned to first team training after working his rehabilitation separately on the pre-seaosn tour.

It may take a little adjustment for Shaw at Tottenham, but his form under Pochettino at Southampton was terrific and earned him a big money move to United in the first place. "So I would say Luke September, Young October, Marcos December, even January, but it's good to have them", Mourinho said in July.
