Police find body believed to be suspect on railroad tracks

Police responded to a scene on the 17000 block of Sleepy Hollow Boulevard early Tuesday morning. By late Tuesday morning, he would lay on the tracks in front of a freight train in the village of Holly and was killed. Deputies found her dead from multiple stab wounds in her home in Springfield Township.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office said it was obvious that the body was struck by a passing train.

Wilkerson was set to be a sophomore at Holly High School, according to Click on Detroit.

Wilkerson reportedly fled the scene in his grandmother's auto, which authorities also located in the Village of Holly.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office put out a statewide BOL for 15-year-old Steven Wilkerson who allegedly stabbed the 65-year-old woman inside her mobile home.

The woman, who was not identified, is believed to have been killed sometime between midnight and 5:30 a.m.

The sheriff's office said its Special Investigations Unit (S.I.U.) is presently at the scene and its Fugitive Apprehension Team is additionally searching for the suspect.

The sheriff's department reported the victim's vehicle, a 2006 Pontiac G6 with MI license plate BAM 0631, was found in the village of Holly.

McCabe said Wilkerson's bicycle was found outside the victim's home.

Right now, it's not clear what caused the woman's death or if any suspects have been arrested.
