The final of WWE's first ever all female tournament took place on the WWE Network last night and saw a huge upset as Kairi Sane managed to defeat UFC star Shayna Baszler with Ronda Rousey at ringside cheering on her fellow Four Horsewoman.

... Sane managed to overcome the imposing Shayna Baszler in the eleventh hour with her Insane Elbow drop, besting the former MMA fighter in what was easily the most physical bout in the women's tournament.

Though they approach competition with different outlooks, Sane and Baszler now find themselves in the same spot, as finalists in WWE's groundbreaking women's tournament. She also talks about being greeted by SmackDown Women's Champion Natalya after the win, saying it's a good reminder that coming into WWE she does have friends. No word yet on who her opponent will be.

- As noted, WWE has announced that Mae Young Classic victor Kairi Sane will compete for the vacant NXT Women's Title at "Takeover: Houston" on Saturday, November 18th. "On Nov. 18 at the Toyota Center at the next NXT TakeOver, Kairi will be fighting to determine a new NXT women's champion".

Sane signed with the WWE earlier this year and is expected to compete on the NXT brand in the future.
