Reports say the recall server is working and successfully deleting messages.

However, messages that have already been read or sent more than five minutes ago can not be recalled through this feature. The "Delete for everyone" feature enables users to wipe out messages before their contacts have read them. That doesn't mean that the feature is live yet, just that it works.

Although there's no official information about the release date of the Whatsapp delete for everyone Feature soon, it's going to be available for the general users on both Android & iOS. The feature is claimed to utilise a separate server that will pull back or delete the unseen messages. Other than text messages, the user would also be able recall their images, videos, GIFs, and documents. Sometimes, you may send a message to the wrong person, which lands you up in serious trouble.
