Donald Trump's former campaign chairman offered to give private briefings on the race to a Kremlin-linked Russian billionaire during the election, reports have claimed.

A Manafort spokesman said that the email exchanges reflected an innocent effort to collect past debts, and that no briefings took place.

CNN reporter Shimon Prokupecz said in a Thursday radio interview that the Paul Manafort wiretapping story hasn't made him reevaluate his views on President Trump's tweets or the government's past statements about the issue.

Meanwhile, conservatives are focusing not on the utter lack of patriotism in the campaign of the U.S. President or the way Russian Federation did actually interfere in the U.S. election, but on Obama's carefully chosen words regarding Trump's unfounded wiretapping accusation/warning to those around him that they were being tapped during a specific time.

Vera Kurochkina, a spokeswoman for Deripaska's company, Rusal, told the Post that its requests for comment "veer into manufactured questions so grossly false and insinuating that I am concerned even responding to these fake connotations provides them the patina of reality".

"If he needs private briefings we can accommodate", Manafort wrote in the July 7, 2016, email, some of which was read to the paper along with other documents from the same period.

The latest news about Manafort's emails comes just days after CNN revealed that United States investigators wiretapped Trump's former campaign chair prior to and after the 2016 election.

This week has been a rollercoaster for poor former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, if rollercoasters never went up and instead were just a straight chute down to the bowels of hell through Satan's asshole.

In an earlier message, Manafort rejected a proposal that Trump meet with Russian representatives overseas.

Former campaign manager for President Donald Trump, Corey Lewandowski, had some fiery words on Tuesday for anyone in Trump's campaign who might have colluded with Russian Federation.

Deripaska and Manafort had previously done business together, CNN has reported.

Multiple media outlets have reported that the Federal Bureau of Investigation raided Manafort's condominium in upscale Alexandria, Virginia with a search warrant during the early morning hours with their guns drawn while Manafort was still in bed.
