"I don't think you've heard the end of it, believe me", Trump said.

After officials from Iran and the world powers held talks on Wednesday, EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini reported that all parties, including the U.S., agreed that that Iran was complying with the deal.

In an interview with Fox News late on September 19 that suggested the United States could withdraw from the deal unless changes are made, Tillerson said the administration was particularly concerned about the deal's "sunset" clauses, which allow restrictions put on Iranian nuclear activities such as uranium enrichment in exchange for sanctions relief to expire after 10 years in 2025.

Rouhani said the United States and Israel have isolated themselves by opposing the 2015 nuclear agreement between Iran and the other major powers.

"I have decided. I'll let you know what the decision is", he said.

Iran Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned on Sunday that Tehran would react strongly to any "wrong move" by Washington on the nuclear deal.

Speaking at the UN General Assembly of world leaders, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani responded forcefully to Trump's pugnacious speech on Tuesday by saying Iran would not be pushed around by a relative newcomer to the world stage.

Asked about Trump's address, Defence Secretary Jim Mattis reiterated his preference Tuesday.

"The Iranians are boasting about their ambitions and their activities", he told a summit convened by United against a Nuclear Iran.

"We're working hand in hand with the White House and with the State Department to be prepared, to be prepared to deal with this issue depending on the outcome", Corker said.

"We expect Iran to fulfil its commitments".

'We Will Be Putting More Sanctions on North Korea'
The order gives the US treasury department discretion to sanction foreign banks that conduct transactions involving North Korea . China is North Korea's number one trading partner, but the USA has often been hesitant to crack down on Chinese banks.

"I think we have a pretty good shot", Trump said. But as America's allies continue to support what's formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, or JCPOA, doing so could force America to once again stand alone on the world stage, with potentially disastrous consequences.

"The world will have lost a great opportunity, but such unfortunate behavior will never impede Iran's course of progress and advancement", Rouhani said. "And we can not abide by an agreement if it provides cover for the eventual construction of a nuclear programme".

Though the Trump administration is now mulling whether to leave the Iran deal, they have made a series of procedural steps, such as extending sanctions relief for Iran, that have kept the 2015 nuclear deal going.

French President Emmanuel Macron told reporters it would be a mistake to pull out of the pact.

"One can nearly set the countdown clock to Iran resuming its nuclear activities", Tillerson said.

He added, "any break-up in Iraq or Syria does not benefit regional stability and we are ready to work with Iran to strengthen the foundations of peace and security in the region".

"Regrettably, since the agreement was confirmed, we have seen anything but a more peaceful, stable region".

Trump said on Wednesday he has reached a decision on whether to recertify Iran´s compliance with the deal to curb its nuclear programme but did not reveal his intentions.

The Iranian leader pointed to the deal's economic benefits, worldwide backing for the pact and the potential fallout if the deal is undermined. As attested to by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and all other signatories to the agreement - including Germany, France, the United Kingdom, China, and Russia - Iran is fully compliant with its obligations under the JCPOA.

In his "New Day" interview, McMaster wouldn't share U.S. military plans for how to handle North Korea, but said there are options on the table. "We have largely in recent years vacated very important competitive space with Iran in this sophisticated campaign of subversion where they're really creating nearly a Hezbollah model across the greater Middle East".
