Stoke City manager Mark Hughes believes the departure of Diego Costa will be a huge loss for Chelsea who will miss the striker's goals and aggression.

But his performance against Forest confirmed he is fully fit and his presence at the bet365 Stadium for a testing meeting with Stoke will be invaluable.

Despite being asked what qualities he admired in the Brazilian born striker, Conte stressed that any questions pertaining to Costa lacked "respect" as he said, via the Telegraph: "I repeat now: I'm not interested to talk about the past".

Two goals in the last 20 minutes of the game secured the three points for the Blues.

Chelsea have four Spaniards in the squad who won the game for the Blues against Stoke.

Tiemoue Bakayoko was involved in a vehicle accident in the lead-up to the fixture but the Chelsea manager confirmed that the midfielder is fit and available for the Stoke game.

The Blues spent big to lure the Spain worldwide away from Real Madrid once the decision was taken to move in a different direction.

Chelsea are certainly going to score plenty this season with the Spanish quartet linking up with each other. If Aguero surpasses the record against Palace, it would have taken him 187 City appearances to get to 178 goals.

Antonio Conte's side are looking imperious in defence, have a wonderful blend of steel and creativity in the midfield and attacking third whilst star striker Morata has hit the ground running in England.

Hughes must also find a way to galvanise his side after two disappointing away defeats, at Newcastle United last weekend, then at Bristol City in the League Cup on Tuesday.

Conte's stand-off with Costa had proved an unwelcome distraction this season after the Chelsea forward was told by the Italian that he was no longer part of his plans. "We want to fight in every competition we are playing".

Drinkwater is the only player the full ahead of this fixture, but even his injury is mild and could well play against Stoke.
