Trump Administration Introduces New Executive Order on North Korea Sanctions

North Korea has described the September 3 incident as a test of an advanced hydrogen bomb for a long-range missile, marking a dramatic escalation of the regime's stand-off with the United States and its allies. Strategic cooperation between the United States and its two key Asian allies has been further enhanced this year amid the rising threat from North Korea.

On Saturday, North Korea's foreign minister warned that a strike against the US mainland is "inevitable" because President Donald Trump mocked leader Kim Jong Un with the nickname "Little Rocket Man".

She praised US President Donald Trump for persuading China to become involved in the effort to curb North Korea's nuclear ambitions. The U.S. Geological Survey and the European Mediterranean Seismological Center also detected the quakes but could not confirm their cause.

North Korea's nuclear tests to date have all been underground, and experts say an atmospheric test, which would be the first since one by China in 1980, would be proof of the success of its weapons program.

In a show of force, USA bombers accompanied by fighter jets flew off the east coast of North Korea yesterday. And he said "we should do so again".

Recent UN Security Council sanctions have expanded bans on North Korea's export of various commodities, including lead, lead ore, iron, iron ore, sea food, and textiles.

Trump tweeted on Friday, saying Pyongyang would be tested like never before.

He said that the United Nations has made an outstanding contribution to the cause of peace and development of humankind, but that the UN's ideals have not yet been achieved and all countries need to continue their efforts.
