Forza Motorsport 7: How to Change View

Turn 10 just took away a big source of income for all players.

Unlike the previous Forza Motorsport game, VIP memberships were limited use in Forza Motorsport 7, something that frustrated fans to no avail.

With Forza Motorsport 7, everyone can experience the danger and beauty of competitive racing at the limit. That did not go over well, particularly given the language used in the original Forza Motorsport 7 listing on the Microsoft Store, which noted (via Windows Central) "additional benefits including 100% CR bonus Mods, VIP Driver Gear, and more". The VIP credit bonus change shouldn't have been there anyways, but at least the devs are listening to fan feedback and acting on it. Despite all the minor fixes, Turn 10 will also fix the benchmark option and now should output the correct minimum FPS.

Alan Hartman, Studio Head of Turn 10 - the developer behind the Forza Motorsport series - has responded to fan outcry around controversial changes to its VIP Member system, penning an open letter to the community and apologising for the upset, assuring fans that a feature is being worked on that will provide double credits for all VIP members, as well as providing an immediate 1 million credit apology. We immediately updated the VIP description in the Windows Store to alleviate any future confusion. Turn 10 has chose to release a new update for their Forza Motorsport 7, one day after the official launch. We've heard what you have had to say and, starting today, you can expect some significant changes. "As head of the studio, I apologise for any confusion or frustration our players may have experienced". This new system will work like it did in Forza Motorsport 6, offering a 2X base credit bonus after every race. The folks at Turn 10 are working on the change and "will release it as soon as possible".

Hartman also addressed reports of technical issues that some players have encountered in the PC release. "Look for more information on this update as we near the release date", the studio has commented on their official blog. Aside from improved visuals and sound effects, A.I. has been improved to make your competitors behave more realistically (though they can still be rather aggressive at times), and the sensation of speed has been heightened with elements of your vehicles visibly shaking and vibrating as a result of your velocity.
