Johnson's health has been a question since he injured his hamstring in the season-opener.

His production on Saturday appears to indicate otherwise.

Following a blowout 44-23 loss to the Auburn Tigers, Ole Miss decided it made sense to immediately post a job advertisement online.

"I'm very proud of him", Malzahn said. The offensive line must have been doing something right.

"This was our first 11 a.m. game in a while, so we had the emphasis all week to come out and start fast", Johnson said. The offense continues to grow despite the backfield still not being 100 percent healthy (Kamryn Pettway sat out and might continue to do so until he's recovered), while the defense looked as dominant as ever when the game mattered Saturday.

(4:04) Jarrett Stidham connects with Ryan Davis for a 75-yard touchdown.

Daniel Carlson went 3 for 3 in field goal attempts on Saturday and hit all five of his point after attempts to become the SEC's All-time leading scorer with 413 career points. He passed former Georgia kickers Marshall Morgan (407), Billy Bennett (409) and Blair Walsh (412) on the career rankings to set the new record.

Ole Miss really wasn't even in the contest after falling behind 35-3 at halftime. Needless to say, things aren't going too swimmingly in Oxford.

The Ole Miss Rebels have been trounced two weeks in a row by SEC West foes, so what better time to post a job opening for head football coach?

"We've got the best field goal kicker in all the land, but we're trying to use him sparingly", Johnson said. That's where we're at right now.

I know it may be a long shot, but really what's more unbelievable, that the school would create an online job listing for the NCAA FBS college football head coaching job vacancy mid-season, or me actually applying for the job?

QB Austin Allen didn't play in the fourth quarter against the Gamecocks due to a shoulder injury, and it's unknown when he'll be back. You could see us working to try to improve each week.

Auburn tailback Kerryon Johnson said the Tigers can't afford not to take the Rebels seriously, regardless of last week's score.

Brown finished with 109 yards on 10 catches including a 40-yard gain down the middle of the field that helped Ole Miss break a almost month-long scoring drought in the third quarter. Stidham has thrown five of his seven touchdown passes on the season over his last three games.

In the second half, the Rebels ended a touchdown drought that started in the second quarter of the game against Cal. D.K. Metcalf scored on a 9-yard catch, finally converting a good drive.

Ole Miss drops their 3rd straight game.
