What Taylor did was all too familiar for the Cornhuskers. They finished with an average of 7.2 yards per rush. In 2014 Gordon ran for a then-NCAA record 408 yards against the Huskers. Although Nebraska had out-gained Wisconsin 313-218 - the most yards Wisconsin had given up in the first half on the year - Wisconsin retained a well-deserved lead.

Ozigbo, who notched his third consecutive 100-yard rushing game, became the first back to reach the century mark against the Badger defense since LSU's Leonard Fournette reached the mark in the 2016 season opener at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.

"I thought Tanner played well", NU center Michael Decker said. "I think we had moved the ball decently at halftime and had pretty good totals but not much to show for it".

Although Nebraska briefly cut the margin to 10-7, Wisconsin immediately answered. "We definitely hit some balls down the field and we were definitely able to stretch them out in the pass game".

Wisconsin ended Nebraska's 20-game win streak in home night games that dated back to 2008. Running back Akrum Wadley and the Iowa defense have all you need to take down Nebraska.

Wisconsin had a pick-six of its own when Chris Orr snagged a ball that glanced off intended receiver Ozigbo and returned it 78 yards on the game's fifth play from scrimmage. Blough and Elijah Sindelar have combined for 13 touchdown passes and six interceptions this season. Nebraska eventually worked its way to the Badger 14, where Brown booted a 32-yard field goal as time expired in the half to send Nebraska to the locker room trailing, 17-10. Stanley Morgan Jr. has caught 26 passes for 395 yards and four scores while Tre Bryant is the leading rusher with 299 yards and two scores, but he continues to be out with a knee injury.

May signals foreign minister Johnson could be sacked
The Telegraph quoted one backer of Mr Johnson as saying that there was a "stench of death" emanating from Downing Street . Allies of Boris Johnson has said he will " just say no " if Theresa May tries to sack or move him from the Foreign Office.

The Badgers, though, would strike right back on the first play of their ensuing possession when Taylor ran around the right side to go 75 yards to the house.

When UW needed to grab back momentum in the second half, it again turned to Taylor. "I talked with the linemen".

Here is a quick look at where Nebraska has been this season and where we are going next in the 2017 season. "It was there and it was great execution".

Patrick O'Brien got some playing time at QB for Nebraska, but a fourth down attempt to Tyler Hoppes fell incomplete and the Badgers took over and ran out the clock. His punt of 57 yards was fielded at the UW 5-yard line and the Badgers started at their 12. The most stunning statistic of all - Wisconsin held Nebraska to 68 total yards in the second half. The 21-point loss was their most lopsided since Iowa beat them by the same score in 2013 and only increases the pressure on Riley.

The Tigers play the Bulldogs in Athens, Ga., at 6:30 p.m. CT on Saturday.

This speaks volumes about determining what exactly has been the best moment of the first half for a program like Nebraska, but the bar was lowered so low that coming up with back-to-back wins against Rutgers and IL really has been the best moment of the season for the Cornhuskers midway through the year.
