Barcelona to move for Dele Alli as Philippe Coutinho transfer alternative

England may have successfully secured qualification for next summer's World Cup in Russian Federation with a late, Harry Kane inspired victory against Slovakia on Thursday night, but Gareth Southgate's team have still been far from convincing with many of their recent displays.

They'll come up against a striker who has scored 14 goals in 10 matches this season and an attacking midfielder who has been instrumental in manufacturing chances for the centre-forward.

"Players are playing with fear".

Tottenham Hotspur are confident Dele Alli will sign a new deal at the club with significantly improved terms, according to a report in the Telegraph.

Giggs said: 'Yes [it's disappointing] when you fall underneath the quality you have shown at your club which these England players have.

The forward has long since cast off doubts he is a "one-season wonder", and he could undoubtedly play for the likes of Real, following in the footsteps of former Spurs hero Gareth Bale.
