Many gamers are hoping that, like the Summer Games 2017 event that brought back last year's Lucioball, this year's Halloween event will bring back the popular Junkenstein's Revenge mode that had four players defend against hordes of enemies.

Overwatch fans are counting down to the 2017 Halloween Terror event on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Every Halloween event needs a bit of Lovecraft, and Blizzard seems happy to oblige. It's a limited-time event, so you'll only have October to (probably) play and unlock a whole bunch of awesome costumes.

Symmetra's skin is arguably the coolest, as it has a sort of dragon-woman theme to it, fully equipped with glowing scales and bright yellow eyes, on top of a newly-designed mechanical left arm. Details are still scarce about what will actually be available this year, but it's safe to assume that there'll be new skins and items based on Halloween. A user on the game's subreddit showed off the new skins, with some of them seemingly coming from Facebook ads. Although no announcement has been made yet, the new leak should give us an idea of what to expect from Blizard this year. Lastly is Mei, who dons the look of a jiangshi, or a kind of hopping vampire from Chinese folklore.
