Kate Middleton has been dealing with a awful illness, Hyperemesis Gravidarum, while pregnant with her third child with Prince William and has been unable to make appearances. The Duchess of Cambridge has been absent from public events-such as her son Prince George's first day of school-due to severe morning sickness, but today, she appeared at Buckingham Palace with Prince William and Prince Harry in honor of World Mental Health Day. The event celebrated those working in the mental health sectors across the United Kingdom, and the royal trio were joined by guests from leading mental health organisations.

This is Princess Kate's first public appearance in six weeks.

Her condition, known as hyperemesis gravidarum, forced her to be hospitalised in 2012 while pregnant with George, aged four. "The Duchess is delighted to be here tonight".

William said: "It was Catherine who first realised that all three of us were working on mental health in our individual areas of focus".

Normal morning sickness affects around 70 per cent of pregnant women, and causes some degree of vomiting and discomfort commonly during the first trimester of pregnancy.

An aide apparently said that her condition is improving, but that she's still suffering with that illness.
