Twitter blocked a Senate campaign ad for Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) on Monday for its "inflammatory" comments about Planned Parenthood, according to The Associated Press. It has told Blackburn she can leave the ad up but cannot pay to promote it unless she removes the line.

Added Miller, "There is a fantastic candidate who's running to replace Sen". Bob Corker, also a Republican, who will retire from his seat in 2018.

Blackburn's almost two-and-a-half minute video also features footage of her shooting a gun and taking fellow Republicans in the Senate to task for failing to repeal ObamaCare. "The conservative revolution won't be stopped by @Twitter and the liberal elite", another tweet reads. The conservative congresswoman from Tennessee mentioned the illegal sale of body parts by Planned Parenthood in the ad, and drew the ire of Twitter.

"Blackburn tweeted that "@Twitter shut down our video ad, claiming it's 'inflammatory & 'negative.'" The video is blanketing Twitter and social media now, but Twitter has exclusively blocked the ability to pay to promote the advertising campaign. That includes "inflammatory or provocative content which is likely to evoke a strong negative reaction". It can be shared by retweet, and since Blackburn's campaign went public with its situation, the video has actually been retweeted more than 15,000 times.

Twitter has banned Blackburn from running a promoted ad campaign on the site using the unedited video, but not from using tweets to promote the ad if it is hosted elsewhere - such as on YouTube.

"This is a pro-women, pro-baby, pro-life message", she emphasized, "and yes indeed as chairman of the Select Investigative Panel, the work that our committee did stopped this practice of selling baby body parts".

"It is astounding to me that Twitter, which is an important outlet, would choose not only to censor a political ad but that they would censor a pro-life message", she told Fox News. "It's something that people wanted to see shut down".

"If this is omitted from the video it will be permitted to serve", the Twitter representative wrote the campaign.

Just last month, Lila Rose of the anti-abortion group Live Action accused Twitter of suppressing the organization's ads and even asking it to make changes to its own website.
