A woman's fearless antics went viral after footage showed her picking up a shark, wrestling with and before and throwing it back into the sea.

Hatheier has gone viral after a video shows her picking up a shark that somehow got stuck in an ocean pool in order to throw back into the sea and send it on its way.

Desperately wanting a safe swim, Melissa Hatheier was filmed wrestling with the unexpected guest at the Cronulla Beach rock pool.

While Hatheier was applauded for her bravery, she said she knew Port Jackson sharks are relatively harmless.

The woman was seen picking up the shark before gently throwing it back into the ocean.

"I jumped in and I thought, 'I reckon I can probably get him out.' And Mum, god love her, called 000 so the police came down as well", Hatheier recalled. "I just dived on him".

Eminem Blasts President Trump During BET Awards Show
According to the rumor mill, Eminem is about to drop his new album on November 17, but a rep for Interscope tells XXL , "nothing has been announced or confirmed yet".

"I picked him up and thought 'he's not even that heavy". I then grabbed him by the neck so he couldn't swing around and bite me.

Ms Hatheier then carries it over to the pool's ledge and throws it into the ocean, as huge cheers are heard by those watching on.

"As a real estate agent I'm used to relocating people and this was similar".

Hatheier told The ABC she may not have been so brazen had the shark been a bigger breed, however.

The clip has since been viewed about 20,000 times with most commenters lauding the moonlighting estate agent's shark handling efforts.
