There are only two more weeks separating fans from the new season of Stranger Things.

After watching it, we can assure you that it's as creepy as it can be and that it did a great job hyping the upcoming season up!

A love letter to the '80s classics that captivated a generation, Stranger Things is set in 1983 in, where a young boy vanishes into thin air.

It's 1984, and for the residents of Hawkins, Indiana, the Demogorgon was just the beginning. Though the trailer doesn't show her reuniting with Mike, Dustin, Lucas and Will, it's clear she's going to do whatever is necessary to save her friends.

It begins with Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) racing through the woods in the winter to retrieve the Eggo waffles Chief Jim Hopper (David Harbour) left for her.

Netflix on Thursday released a short teaser for the trailer, showing 13 brief scenes from various season 2 episodes. Along they way, they contend with supernatural forces unleashed from an alternate dimension known as the Upside Down.

Stranger Things was one of the biggest Netflix surprises in a long time.

This year's threat seems to be the growing portal between our world and the Upside Down and the threatening tentacle monster we've seen in much of the promotional materials.

The second season of Stranger Things will land on Netflix on the 27th of October 2017, have a look at the trailer below. The new cast members include Sadie Sink, Paul Reiser, Dacre Montgomery, Sean Astin, Linnea Berthelsen, Will Chase, and Brett Gelman.
