Roy Price has resigned as head of Amazon Studios after being suspended from the streaming company amid a sexual harassment scandal, TheWrap has learned.

Isa Hackett, an EP on Amazon's "Man in the High Castle", told the Hollywood Reporter that Price, 51, propositioned her in a taxi, telling her that she would "love (his) d-k". Following Price's suspension, the studio's COO, Albert Cheng, has served as interim president.

The departure from Amazon follows Price's suspension October 12 from the tech giant's entertainment division on the heels of renewed sexual harassment allegations. Amazon has yet to comment on Price's resignation. It's unclear if there will be any other aftershocks for the company. Price could not immediately be reached independently by Reuters and he declined to comment to the Hollywood Reporter. Feinberg's manager confirmed the news to Variety. That report did not contain the details that appeared in THR.

Price was placed on leave after the allegation surfaced.

UK's May to pay surprise visit to Brussels
The EU has maintained there has been insufficient progress on such issues as the rights of EU citizens already living in Britain. The surprise visit will take place after European Union negotiator Michel Barnier said last week talks had reached a stalemate.

He said on Twitter that McGowan claimed she told Price about the alleged rape but had been told it "hadn't been proven".

"I hope we all continue to inspire each other and ultimately create change", Hackett said. That business has since grown into a vibrant original-series and feature-film studio, with Price at the helm.

McGowan also claimed that she had sold a script to Amazon and had a project in development when she got wind of a "Weinstein bailout".
