Dallas to host 2018 National Football League draft after one year in Philadelphia

Goodell said on Wednesday that the three-day event will be hosted at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, which has been the home of the Cowboys since 2009. The Auditorium Threatre downtown hosted the 2015 and 2016 drafts after it moved from New York City, its home since 1965. This year's draft drew more than 200,000 fans on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

The draft will be held April 26-28 in the Arlington, Tex., stadium, although the Cowboys had earlier urged that it be split between the stadium and The Star, the team's Frisco, Tex., training facility.

It will be the first time that North Texas has hosted the draft.

The league has adopted the idea of constantly moving the draft after decades of it being held in New York City.

According to the two, the new studio's ownership will be split evenly between Snap and NBCU, and will be based in Santa Monica. Snap and NBC will be partnering with several content creators to produce new scripted programming for this new joint venture.

A year ago in Philly, a record-breaking 250,000 fans attended the draft over the three-day span.

The 2019 draft coincides with the league's 100th season, and the 2020 event will recognize the centennial of the establishment of the NFL in Canton, Ohio, on August 20, 1920. The estimated economic impact for the city was $94.9 million. He's since been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and now gets to host the NFL's second-largest event in "Jerry World".
