Tigers lose Tamim for rest of South Africa tour

South Africa, who defeated Bangladesh in the second ODI on Wednesday, are now the number one-ranked side in ODIs.

Hashim Amla has been rested for South Africa's final one-day global of the series against Bangladesh and the uncapped Aiden Markram comes in as a replacement.

South Africa are ahead in the ODI series with two victories after winning the Test series. Hafeez, who first attained top ranking in January 2013, has reached the top spot for the ninth time. De Villiers has now been at the top for 2,124 days while Richards was number one for 2,306 days, ICC said.
