Apple's New iPhone Has a Frustrating Bug That's Driving People Crazy

When Apple announced iOS 11, it spent a lot of time explaining Apple Pay Cash, a new peer-to-peer service that allowed friends to exchange money over iMessage. While this bug is persistent throughout several different apps not everyone is affected, but Apple has provided a temporary fix for those who are.

This workaround fix should mean that the system prioritizes the manually-added user text replacement over the weird garbled mess that iOS is errantly suggesting.

The company recommends using text replacement as a short-term solution. The problem is as follows; the software is unable to type capital letter "I" from the keyboard.

The autocorrect bug frustratingly replaces "I" to an "A" with a symbol.

So what is the cause of the problem?

Most of the features should make it into the final iOS 11.2 release though Apple could hold some back for additional testing if needed. Some of which include 70 new emojis introduced (including clothing options such as headscarf, insane face, gender-neutral characters, smiley faces and fun creatures like genies and vampires), 3D Touch App Switcher gesture and a reachability dock overlap issue.
