Eve Replaces Aisha Tyler as Co-Host on CBS' 'The Talk'

Eve took her seat as the newest host of CBS' The Talk Tuesday, filling the seat vacated by actress Aisha Tyler, who announced her exit in June.

Rapper Eve has been named the new co-host of daytime show The Talk. Unlike its counterpart, "The View" which sees hosts change regularly, the panel has remained relatively similar for years with hosts Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood. "The great success of The Talk is due to the undeniable chemistry and bond of friendship between the hosts".

In a chat with People magazine, Eve reveals she was initially reluctant to join the Los Angeles-based show because she resides in London with her husband Maximillion Cooper.

Eve is a Grammy-winning artist who's known for the 2002 song "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" and her collaborations with Alicia Keys, Ludacris, Jill Scott, and Dr. Dre.

Though the 39-year-old Pennsylvania native now resides in London with her husband, British entrepreneur Maximillion Copper, and her four stepchildren, the decision to join the Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show was simple. "But the last few months I've been feeling that I want to join something".

Eve said when she was first approached about the new gig, she thought it was ideal but admitted that she had to think about it. "And the plan was, before this opportunity came up, was to put out some music, which I still plan to do soon".
