Rampage is an adaption of the beloved '80s arcade game that allowed players to choose between three different characters: a giant ape, a giant lizard and a giant werewolf, all of which were human prior to a freak lab accident. "I love animals because they're honest".

The trailer of Dwayne Johnson starrer Rampage is here and it is reminding us of the times when watching Peter Jackson's King Kong was an experience in itself. He only haphazardly gets called into action to help his white-furred buddy, George, after the gorilla encounters a space capsule that turns him, Lizzy and Ralph into giant destructive forces of nature. When they don't like you, they kill you. "Our #RAMPAGEMovie trailer drops TOMORROW at 5PM EST/2PM PST".

"This is my best friend, George".

"Rampage", based on the classic video game of the same name, follows Primatologist Davis Okoye (Dwayne Johnson) as he battles to save his primate friend George who has been infected by a mysterious chemical that has turned him into a very big beast. But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry mutates this gentle ape into a raging creature of enormous size. To make matters worse, it's soon discovered there are other similarly altered alpha predators.

On top of that, however, Johnson also revealed exactly when we'll be able to see the first trailer for the film.

Rampage also stars Naomie Harris, Malin Akerman, Jake Lacy, Joe Manganiello and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, as well as P.J.

The special effects look decent enough and you can check out all the rampaging chaos when the film hits a theater near you on April 20th, 2018 next year.
