Kelly Clarkson, Pink Rise Above Difficult 2017 in Soaring AMAs Duet

Pink has planned a benefit for awesome the American Music Awards that will take place this Sunday.

The 38-year-old often uses aerial choreography in her performances, but she took it to new levels - all while singing the track Beautiful Trauma from her new album.

But all jokes aside, Clarkson teased that her performance with the "What About Us" singer will be "intimate" and "powerful".

The AMAs 2017 opening brought to the table many performances, but the show chose to do something a little bit different courtesy of Jamie Foxx. From hurricanes, wild fires, hate, hatred fueled violence - 2017 is the year that tested our faith. "In these moments of crisis, heroes emerged", he said, welcoming the honored guests on stage.

For the superstars first collaboration ever, they performed a moody cover of R.E.M's hit song "Everybody Hurts".

But we think it's safe to say Pink did an okay job, right?
