Hezbollah denies providing missile fired at Saudi from Yemen

Saudi Arabia has led an Arab coalition fighting the Houthis, with the support of Yemen's exiled internationally recognized government, since 2015 in a stalemated war that has exacerbated a growing humanitarian crisis.

During the meeting Bahrain's Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa was quite vocal against Hezbollah saying it was "in total control" of Lebanon.

Iran on Monday dismissed as "worthless" a resolution by Arab League foreign ministers that accused the Islamic republic of "aggression" against Arab states.

They warned Iran not to interfere in the internal affairs of the region and stressed that Tehran should halt its support for Houthi rebels and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Addressing a meeting of Arab foreign ministers in Cairo, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir said the pan-Arab organization needed to take a decision to be "non-compromising" in dealing with Iran.

The Arab ministers held its meeting at the request of Saudi Arabia to discuss "violations" committed by Iran in the region.

7.3 magnitude natural disaster strikes off Australia coast
An undersea quake of magnitude 7.0 struck 82 kms east of New Caledonia's Loyalty Islands at 9.43 am local time. The quake, initially reported as a magnitude 6.6, struck at 8.25pm at a depth of 13.0 km, the USGS said.

While not mentioning Iran by name, he said Lebanon condemned all attacks against Arab nations, but blamed exploitable inter-Arab divisions that allowed global and regional powers to promote their interests.

According to the members of the panel, the tightening of Yemen's blockade by the Saudi-led coalition and the invocation by Saudi Arabia of paragraph 14 of resolution 2216, which allows United Nations member states to take measures to prevent the transfer of military goods to Houthis, is allegedly an attempt to impede the delivery of humanitarian aid to Yemeni civilians.

"The Iranian threats have gone beyond all limits and are pushing the region toward a risky precipice", Abul Gheit added. "(Iran's) missile program poses a danger to the region", said Aboul-Gheit.

Mr Hariri said this month in Riyadh that he was resigning as Lebanon's prime minister because of Iran's "grip" on his country and fears of assassination. It is widely believed that Iran is backing the Houthi rebels.

Earlier in the day, Iran's foreign Minister Javad Zarif told state media in Antalya, a Turkish resort city, on the sidelines of a meeting with his Russian and Trukish counterparts, "Unfortunately countries like the Saudi regime are pursuing divisions and creating differences and because of this they don't see any results other than divisions".

In a statement the party said it "rejects the description of the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement as terrorist". Both countries have recently announced about achieving major successes in their fight against terrorist groups with Wahabi ideology.
