Jim Harbaugh sends condolences to family of Terry Glenn, Ohio State community

On Monday morning (Nov. 20), former National Football League player Terry Glenn died from a vehicle crash in Dallas, Texas, ESPN reports.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office said Glenn died at Parkland Memorial Hospital at 12:52 a.m.

The medical examiner's office confirmed the death, saying Glenn died in the early morning of November 20, after being transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital, according to ESPN. Glenn was the Cowboys' leading receiver in 2005 and played a central role playoff runs in 2003, 2006 and 2007.

Glenn spent six seasons with the Patriots from 1996-2001 before playing for the Green Bay Packers for a year in 2002. Five years later, on October 14, 2001, Glenn caught Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's first career touchdown pass. In five postseason games with New England, Glenn caught 21 passes for 317 yards. We scored on the next play and ended up winning 28-3.

According to Mac Engel of the Forth Worth Star-Telegram, Glenn was killed in a auto accident in Irving, Tex.

Former teammates tweeted their condolences following the news of Glenn's death Monday morning. "Our thoughts and prayers are with Terry's family, his former teammates and friends who mourn his loss".
