LaVar Ball said he'd like to thank a president - just not the one who resides in the White House.

On Nov. 15 he tweeted that he wondered if the three Bruins would thank him. LaVar, on the other hand, was not as grateful - or as PC.

However, Colbert did admire at least one of the digs Ball took at Trump: When asked about Trump's involvement in resolving the issue with his son, Ball replied "who?" What was he over there for? Ball continued. "Don't tell me nothing". He ain't help me get no job.

After LiAngelo was arrested and released on suspicion of shoplifting in China, Trump was looking for a big ol' thank you, but if anyone is expecting one from LaVar, well, they might be waiting awhile. They may have faced prison sentences if convicted - a fact that Trump also tweeted about in his rapid-fire response to comments made by LaVar Ball in which he downplayed Trump's role in bringing the men home. "He probably got to China by falling through the center of the Earth and popping out the other side".

"This is the feud we've been waiting for", Meyers joked of Ball's unwillingness to thank the president.

Cavuto said Trump is "using a bazooka to respond to a pea shooter". I wasn't there. I'm not going to say nothing that I don't know, I don't see and I don't hear.

BALL: I'm telling you, somebody had to do something. Every Negro boy-in my situation during those years, at least-who reaches this point realizes, at once, profoundly, because he wants to live, that he stands in great peril and must find, with speed, a 'thing, ' a gimmick, to lift him out, to start him on his way.

"That's on your mind, that a father didn't say "Thank you"?" "President What's His Name took the bait". "Then I would've said, 'Thank you, Mr. Trump for taking my boys out of China and taking them back to the U.S.' There's a lot of room on that plane".

He said Trump didn't take his son back to the USA on Air Force One.

Trump has boasted that he played a role in their release and that he deserves a thank you from the players. "She was headed for 10 days at the losers table", the "Late Night" host joked in his best eighth grade girl's voice.
