Battlefield 1 Turning Tides Expansion Gets a Release Date

'Battlefield 1 Turning Tides will be released in two waves - the first coming on December 11 for Battlefield 1 Premium Pass owners.

EA Games and DICE send along word that the Battlefield 1 Turning Tides DLC is coming on December 11th.

Following the initial release of the content on December 11, the second rollout will begin sometime in January.

The DLC also expands the range of weapons available in multiplayer, with six firearms, two melee weapons and a new "Infiltrator" elite class. The second wave of "Turning Tide" will be available in January 2018, offering up two more maps: Zeebrugge and Heligoland Blight.

To that end, they've previously had Premium Trials where season pass holding players can bring non-holders into the new content, and they're now having straight up DLC free trials to get people to try out the first two DLC expansions. Frontlines can be described as a mix of Conquest and Rush and has you fighting for chained control points in an intense tug-of-war. Finally, the Fall of Empires Operation Campaign turns up on 22nd November and runs until 6th December, combining the Conquer Hell and Iron Walls Operations.
