Penn State to play Washington in the Fiesta Bowl

Just not in Arizona.

The Nittany Lions and Huskies both finished 10-2 and will meet at University of Phoenix Stadium on December 30.

Ohio State is returning to the stadium where the Buckeyes won the first College Football Playoff championship under the current system.

In matching up the Lions and Huskies, the committee pits the two teams that were battling for the final playoff spot in 2016 against each other.
