Second Georgia player arrested alongside LB Natrez Patrick on Saturday night

Per Barrow County Sheriff Jud Smith, Patrick was arrested on charge of possession of marijuana, less than an ounce, which is a misdemeanor.

Just hours after Georgia defeated Auburn to win its first SEC Championship since 2005, thus sealing its place in the College Football Playoff final four, the Bulldogs were dealt a blow in the form of two arrests.

Patrick was a passenger in a vehicle driven by wide receiver Jayson Stanley.

Two years ago, Patrick and then-teammate Chauncey Rivers were arrested for possession of marijuana. Georgia officials have not yet commented on Patrick's arrest.

Patrick logged three tackles in Saturday's SEC Championship Game and is sixth on the team this season with 35 tackles. Patrick served a one-game suspension. Stanley has three tackles on special teams and hasn't had a reception in 11 games.
