Two women have come forward with allegations of sexual harassment and assault against California Assemblyman Matt Dababneh (D).

In a statement, Dababneh, first elected in 2013, denied the event ever happened.

Lopez's attorney said her client was sent a cease and desist letter on Friday, trying to prevent Monday's announcement.

The Times had been preparing a report on her accusations against Dababneh, and sought the assemblyman's comment late last week.

"I was up close and personal with Matt Dababneh and he had immediately uncovered himself and began jerking off", she said. Glaser wrote that Lopez' claims against Dababneh are false and warned that, if she repeated them at the press conference or anywhere else, "you will be held fully accountable in damages". "And I can't have it on my conscious that this may happen again". "Before the ordeal ended, he told me not to tell anyone".

Trump's Utah Agenda: Keep Romney Out of the Senate
Despite delivering a passionate anti-Trump speech during the primaries, Romney has occasionally praised Trump's work as president. Trump will also meet with Mormon leaders in Utah with Hatch by his side. "He's not afraid to take on the big mouths around here".

Barker additionally said that she has no motivation to think Sherman knew about Dababneh's conduct ― he was "dependably on his best conduct before the congressman", she said.

Dababneh now speaks to California's 45th Assembly District, covering a great part of the San Fernando Valley in Southern California. "Unfortunately, it was largely brushed off".

Lopez told reporters Monday that she hopes her actions inspire other victims of sexual harassment to "lawyer up". He noted that the layout of the room where the party was held would make it hard for any such incident to go unnoticed. A friend of Lopez's also told The Times that Lopez described the encounter to her several weeks after the party. She testified at an Assembly subcommittee hearing on sexual harassment last week, saying she had been sexually assaulted and harassed since she was a very young lobbyist in Sacramento. Tony Mendoza, D-Cerritos, was stripped of committee leadership positions pending an investigation of harassment allegations.

As it has in Hollywood and across the country, sexual harassment has become a hot topic in Sacramento, with legislative leaders vowing to crack down on misconduct.
