The incident took place about a minute before his Golden State Warriors scored a 125-115 road win over the New Orleans Pelicans, when the two-time NBA MVP went for a steal. Curry was competing until the final buzzer, though, and it led to him suffering a bum wheel.

Curry, a native of Akron, Ohio, fought through repeated ankle injuries and surgery on a torn ligament early in his career to emerge as the NBA's best and perhaps most revolutionary point guard in a generation. And if that didn't get across how badly his ankle was bothering him, here's the video of Curry trying to get off the floor. That being said, The Vertical additionally reported that Curry is slated to undergo an MRI on his "very swollen" right ankle Tuesday.

Curry was injured while jumping into a passing lane late in the fourth quarter. "Sprained my ankle. See how it feels tomorrow and kind of go from there".
