University of Oklahoma football star Rodney Anderson is the subject of sexual assault allegations made by a woman who filed for an emergency order of protection against him Monday night.

"Mr. Anderson first learned of [the woman's] request for a civil protective order late yesterday evening", attorney Derek Chance said in a statement via ESPN.

As Jake Trotter of ESPN.com notes, the woman said in the filing that she was drinking at a bar on November 16 when she met Anderson, whom she had never met before. In the protective order filing, she noted that Anderson's friends "were insistent that he take" her home from a bar after they met on November 16.

The woman said she later recalled incidents she say happened inside her apartment, including forceful contact and biting.

Until then, Anderson is prohibited from having any contact with the alleged victim and to stay away from her residence.

Charges have not yet been filed against Anderson but he was reportedly ordered to pay the court costs in the protective order filing, and a hearing has been scheduled for December 18th.

Sure, it's a violent game, but the rules expressly forbid hits like the one Smith-Schuster laid on Burfict. And that's not going to happen overnight. "I was just playing to the whistle", he said.

United Nations faces uphill course to broker North Korea talks
On Monday, he met Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Li Baodong, and from Beijing he will go directly to the North Korean capital. The UN envoy is planning to see foreign diplomats and UN workers in the North on humanitarian missions, Dujarric said.

A lawyer representing Anderson called the allegation false and sais Anderson "will be exonerated of any wrongdoing". However, there are those accused of sexual assault which they unequivocally did not commit - as is the case for Mr. Anderson. "It is incumbent on our community to reserve judgement and to treat this allegation on its own merit".

Chance also says the woman made her claims only after Anderson rejected a relationship with her. The Sooners play Georgia in the Rose Bowl on January 1.

Anderson now leads the Sooners with 960 yards rushing and 11 touchdowns on the ground.

In the final six weeks of the regular season, Anderson recorded 1,041 yards from scrimmage and 14 touchdowns.

The Sooners are fortunate that that they have two highly talented running backs like Sermon and Adams to bring in if Anderson is unavailable to play. The Cincinnati Bengals selected Mixon in the second round of this year's draft.
